Put the Veteran Back in Veterans Day

With Heartfelt Thanks This Veterans Day

As a proud supporter of WWP, you know that Veterans Day is not the only day on which we salute wounded heroes. Please help spread the word that the wounded men and women who served our country should never be forgotten.

When you give a gift today, I’d like to send you a 2013 limited edition WWP Warrior calendar while supplies last. It features some of the injured veterans who paid such a high price to keep America the land of the free.
Dear caring friend,

As you pause today to reflect, honor, and appreciate the sacrifices service members made, I hope you remember that these same brave heroes continue to pay a high price even after combat. Hundreds of thousands of veterans live with life-changing wounds — visible and invisible, as a result of war.

This Veterans Day, I ask you to salute veterans — fly an American flag, attend a parade, and most importantly, become reenergized about our shared mission to honor and empower Wounded Warriors.

I want to personally thank you for your support of Wounded Warrior Project® (WWP). Together, our partnership will give hope to injured warriors this Veterans Day.

Through the vast range of programs WWP has developed, such as the Combat Stress Recovery Program, TRACK™, and Warriors to Work™, we are able to help meet the needs of wounded veterans throughout their phases of recovery.

Without your continued help, it wouldn’t be possible for WWP to provide injured warriors who are returning from today’s conflicts with the programs and services they need to rebuild their lives.

Please show your gratitude to injured warriors with a generous gift of $50, $75, $100, or more on this special day of honor.

With many thanks for all you do,

Steven Nardizzi
Executive Director
Wounded Warrior Project

P.S. Please allow 2 — 3 weeks to receive your calendar.
