The man arrested in a Saturday shooting at a Liberty motorcycle club is now
charged with two counts of attempted-first degree murder.
One of the
victims in the weekend shooting was also arrested in May in connection to a
robbery related to the motorcycle clubs.
Michaelangelo Gomez was in court
Monday morning for an initial appearance related to the weekend incident at the
Midwest Percenters Clubhouse on Main Street in Liberty.
Gomez is charged

and aggravated discharge of a firearm.
A judge set his bond at
$500,000.
Gomez is due back in court at 10 a.m. Thursday.
A
document filed by the Adams County State's Attorney revealed the names of the
two victims. They are Robert Morrell of Hannibal and Timothy Jackson of
Roodhouse. Barnard said that neither of the two men are being investigated in
connection with the weekend incident.
In an interview Monday, Morrell's
mother, Brenda Morrell, also of Hannibal, said that her son was released from
the hosptial and is recovering.
"He's doing OK, but he's sore," she
said.
Police said this weekend that their injuries were not life
threatening.
Jackson was charged in May along with three other men in
connection with an armed robbery.
Jackson is scheduled for a court
hearing in December on those charges filed in May.
