A Shirley, Mass., man was one of two members of the Hells Angels Motorcycle Club convicted of assault in connection with a stabbing at last summer's Sturgis motorcycle rally.
The Rapid City Journal reports (http://bit.ly/wE2pRp) that fifty-seven-year-old George James Caruso, of Shirley was convicted of simple assault, a misdemeanor. Mark Allen Duclos, 48, of Fairbanks, Alaska, was convicted of aggravated assault, which is a felony.
Duclos is scheduled to be sentenced on Feb. 21 and Caruso on March 5.
Police say two people were treated for knife wounds last summer after the confrontation between the Hells Angels and the Mongols Motorcycle Club during the annual Sturgis Motorcyle Rally that draws hundreds of thousands of bikers to South Dakota's Black Hills.
