CANADA - Hell's Angels clubhouse burns down
OFF THE WIRE
Police have confirmed that the rural property that burned to the ground east of Calgary was a Hell's Angels clubhouse, but aren't releasing any more details.
Firefighters rushed to an acreage east of Calgary on Sunday night and found the home, confirmed by police as a Hell's Angels clubhouse, engulfed in flames.
Crews arrived on scene at just before 7 p.m. Sunday and found the blaze too intense and had to pull out of the home before it could be searched and concentrate on keeping the fire from spreading.
Acting Battalion Chief Bob Akins said the fire was compromising the integrity of the structure. "It was burning away so we had to pull them out and then went defensive on the fire immediately."
Calgary Police aren't saying much about the clubhouse fire, as they are waiting for arson investigators to determine the cause of the blaze.
No one was hurt in the blaze and there are no estimates on damage.
