Cop To Citizen: "If You Take My Picture Again, I'm Going To Fucking Break Your Face"

OFF THE WIRE

A police officer from the Niagara Frontier Transportation Authority in Buffalo walked up to a citizen who was filming him and threatened to "fucking break" his face.
The cop said he was speaking "not as a police officer, but as a person."
The only problem is, the sonofabitch was in full uniform with a police dog in tow.
The incident took place Thursday in the Square in downtown Buffalo after a fight had broken out. No further details are available at this point.
But the video speaks for itself.
Cop Who Threatened To "Fucking Break" Face Of Citizen Suspended For 2 Days..
JUSTICE FOR TE LITTLE GUY...
The Niagara Frontier Transit Authority cop who threatened to “fucking break” the face of a man who dared videotape him has been suspended for two days.
Not only that, but NFTA officials are refusing to release his name, according to a WIVB.com news report.
However, several Photography is Not a Crime readers are saying his name is David Capretto, an NFTA cop who already has a history of violence against citizens.
His name appears to be Capretto on the name tag in the video, but that is also blurry.
According to a Buffalo State College published report, Capretto had an altercation with an alumna named Kara McKinney in 2009 (open PDF and type in “Capretto” in search box).
Buffalo State College alumna Kara McKinney has learned firsthand just how difficult it is for victims of police brutality to get the justice they deserve. On January 5, the first Monday following the NFTA rate hike, McKinney planned on riding Metro Rail after work to the gym. She rides the subway regularly, and typically has exact change. However, being $0.25 short would cost her more than the typical fine. By the end of the evening, NFTA officer David Capretto would verbally harass, physically assault and arrest McKinney for not having her ticket. Her testimony is harrowing, and the scar from the stitches in her eyebrow and the photos of her just after she was assaulted are shocking. By the end of the ordeal, which lasted several hours,
McKinney would have all charges dropped and the assurance from Capretto that this incident would all go away. However, McKinney is determined to bring Capretto to justice.
In 2010, the New York State Comptroller determined that Capretto was one of several NFTA officers who were “double-dipping,” meaning they would get paid for working NFTA shifts while working elsewhere (open PDF and type in “Capretto” in search box).
This is essentially fraud.
I have not been able to find any more information on the above cases.
And I’ve tried contacting the guy who uploaded the video by sending him a message through Youtube, but he has not returned my message or called me, even though I left him my phone number and email address.
NFTA police believe the incident took place last year, even though it was uploaded on May 28.
