An acquaintance of mine who preaches the legalization of cannabis and tossing seeds everywhere, sold all his belongings, including his motorcycle, and went from California to Florida just to help legal defense preparation and spearhead protests of wrongful incarceration. When I last spoke with Rev. Paul von Hartmann, he was planning on doing the best he can in Hawaii to protest the year-long (so far) federal imprisonment, without trial, of his best friend, Roger Christie, who ran the Hawaii THC Ministry.
RESULTS: The protest was attended by about 5,000 who carried signs, sweetened the air with the smell of a free society, and spread seeds all over the grounds of Honolulu International Airport. The results should become even more obvious soon.
Roger, who helped many people obtain marijuana for medicinal reasons or for religious sacrament reasons, remains in federal prison, denied bail, twice, as "dangerous", and held without trial, for almost a year. Roger is a gentle person - the only danger he poses is to the misguided laws which prevent the return of a "budding" hemp and natural herbal remedies economy. Roger is extremely intelligent and knows how to present the case for the end of prohibition, and therein lies the so-called "danger" to feds who are lobbied by big pharmaceutical companies.
Here is my interview of Paul von Hartmann from last February.
