Kudos to B.O.L.T. of the Carolinas members and all others who were ticketed in protest and participated in the SC Supreme Court Action.

B.O.L.T. of the Carolinas had about a 30% participation rate in this action. It would be about 50% if we don't include those whose motorcycles were not operational at the time. It's time to CELEBRATE!

There is always more work to be done.
SC is not helmet free for under age 21. It should be 18 - old enough to decide to kill or be killed in the US Military, old enough to be responsible for entering into legal financial transactions, and old enough to vote. Also, the City of Myrtle Beach continues to target motorcyclists for harassment by the MBPD.
As for North Carolina, the only current action is working toward the removal of bad legislators, preparing for legislative repeal action in 2011. If that fails, work on funding to launch a declaratory relief action.
