OKLAHOMA CITY -- A metro man is now behind bars after officials from the Oklahoma County Sheriff Department raided his home near the 2400 block of NW 2nd Street early Thursday morning. Once inside, investigators quickly discovered large quantities of methamphetamine and marijuana. They arrested 57-year-old John Anthony Wilson at the scene.

Deputies also arrested Wilson's 25-year-old girlfriend, Andrea Clevenger, for child neglect after authorities allegedly found burns on her 10-month old daughter's back.

"The child has been taken into protective custody because obviously the main concern there is that you have a child in the house with so many drugs and weapons, obviously we are concerned with the welfare of this child," said Mark Myers with the Oklahoma County Sheriff's Department.

Along with the drugs, detectives discovered a loaded handgun and a bulletproof vest inside the home.

Because Wilson is a convicted felon, he will have to serve a mandatory five years behind bars for possession of a firearm.
