SAN BERNARDINO, Calif. - Co-defendant pleads guilty in Calif meth ring case

A woman has pleaded guilty in connection with a methamphetamine trafficking ring that authorities say involved a California State University, San Bernardino professor.
The Press-Enterprise ( http://bit.ly/pangfZ) says Wendi Lee Witherell entered her guilty plea Tuesday on a felony charge of conspiracy to commit a crime.
Kinesiology professor Steve Kinzey has pleaded not guilty to drug and weapons charges.
Authorities say Kinzey is the president of the local chapter of the Devils Diciples motorcycle club. He is due in court Oct. 28.
Two other co-defendants are charged with felonies.
In return for Witherell's guilty plea, prosecutors dropped a felony charge of possession of a controlled substance for sale.
Witherell is due to be sentenced Oct. 26
