Australia - Rebels MC -

OFF THE WIRE

THE Rebels outlaw motorcycle gang has sold its southern clubrooms from one member to another.
The Old Noarlunga property has had a "for sale" sign on its front fence, but it was not advertised on the agent's website or other real estate websites.
The land title transfer, which went through last month, is now in the name of Rebels member Richard James Carter.
The property was bought by former chapter president Robert Vitale on November 14, 2003, for $225,000.
Mr Vitale was believed to have left South Australia.
Agents Siebel and Siebel refused to discuss the sale and the sale price is unknown, but the median Old Noarlunga house price is $335,000.
The sale went through as rumours spread that the Rebels were selling up to move to Victor Harbor.
The property has a camera security system and is positioned in a semi-industrial area and surrounded by high, cement rendered walls.
At least three cameras look over the front fence, and a video intercom is installed at the gate.
The clubhouse hosted a wild party with national president Alex Vella in May 2009.
