A BIKER has been charged after he was caught driving at 114mph on a rural road.
The motorcyclist was one of eight people caught speeding on the B9001 Inverurie to Rothienorman, which is a popular route with commuters on their way to work in the morning.
Sergeant Rob Warnock, of Grampian Police, said drivers were caught speeding at more than 80mph and 90mph, although the 114mph was the highest speed recorded in the crackdown.

A 28-year-old man is expected to appear in court, Grampian Police said.
