Three actors topline 'Befriend & Betray'

Canada - Byron Mann, Tim Rozon, Christine Horne cast
TORONTO -- Byron Mann ("Dark Angel," "Dragon Boys"), Tim Rozon and Christine Horne are toplining the "Befriend & Betray" pilot from indie producer DHX Media for Canwest Broadcasting.

The two-hour drama, now shooting in Toronto through October, also stars Klea Scott ("Minority Report"), Tom Jackson and Steph Song.

The project is based on a book about the Hells Angels and Bandidos crime syndicates by Alex Caine.

The pilot was written by Michael Amo and is directed by Ken Girotti.

John Calvert is producing, and Amo, Charles Bishop and Floyd Kane are executive producing.

Canwest Broadcasting plans to air the backdoor pilot on Showcase in early 2011.
