Australia, Bikie clubhouse raid fails to find weapons

Police say a search of a motorcycle gang clubhouse has failed to locate any weapons.

Gang Crime Squad detectives and heavily armed officers from the Tactical Response Group raided the Coffin Cheaters clubhouse in Beaconsfield south of Perth yesterday.

Police say they were acting on "substantial new information" in the wake of a brawl at the Kwinana Motorplex in which three members of the rival motorcylce gang, The Finks, were injured.

Police say the search failed to locate a gun believed to have been used in the brawl but the warrant for the property is still current and they may still continue their search.

No arrests or charges have been made as a result of the raid.
