A motorcycle gang member connected to a fatal shooting in Marion has pleaded guilty to federal charges that he conspired with others to dispose of weapons.
Allan “Dog” Hunter, 33, Chicago, a member of the Wheels of Soul Outlaw Motorcycle Gang, was present during the March 6, 2011 shooting death of Javell T. Thornton, 32, Chicago at 126 South Main St.

On that night, a fight at an after-hours party moved into the street. When the dust settled two people were injured and Thornton was dead on the sidewalk.

Anthony R. Robinson is accused of killing Thornton.

He is currently indicted on one count of murder in aid of racketeering activity and one count of attempt to commit murder in aid of racketeering in connection with the shooting, along with other federal charges for murder and racketeering activities in other states, according to the federal indictment.

Hunter admitted in federal court on Thursday that he conspired with other members of the Wheels of Soul gang to dispose of several firearms following the shooting that killed Thornton.
