Yes I was International President of the HUNS as well as President of the Mother Chapter in Bridgeport CT.
The HUNS were very active in defeating CT Mandatory Helmet Law.
We supported Donald “PAPPY” Pittsley who was the President of the CMRA.
When Pappy died I took over the CMRA but had to resign from the club to do so.
I along with others testified in Washington DC to remove the Federal Blackmail Threat of withholding Highway Funds to States that did not pass specific laws one of which was the Mandatory Helmet Law.
When we won that Connecticut and many other states repealed their Mandatory Helmet Law.
What I am currently trying to do is make all motorcyclist aware of what is going on in our lifestyle and in doing that it obviously has upset some people who claim to be Motorcycle Rights Leaders.
I question any organization that is not open to their membership, especially when they want to keep secret certain things they are doing.
I welcome all comments Pro & Con.
