A man linked to the Rock Machine outlaw motorcycle gang in Perth has been charged with firearms offences after his car was stopped and searched by police.
The 39-year-old's red Holden Commodore utility was stopped in inner city Crawley on Monday morning after he was allegedly seen driving erratically.
Police said a search of the vehicle uncovered a 12 gauge sawn-off shotgun, a .44 magnum lever-action rifle, a modified .22 calibre semi-automatic rifle and ammunition for all three firearms.
The man from Edgewater in Perth's north, who is connected with the Rock Machine outlaw motorcyle gang, has been charged with seven firearms and weapons offences and one count of receiving, police said.
He has been bailed to appear in the Perth Magistrates Court on December 14.
Tensions have been rising between the Rock Machine and The Rebels bikie gangs in Western Australia in recent weeks, with police saying they are involved in a turf war over the lucrative illegal drug trade.
