SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENTS

SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENTS:
Editor's note: In the past month, I've seen more and more communities, and states drafting up legislation targeting motorcycle noise.
Please folks... remain vigilant; engage other riders in your area to get involved, get in touch with your local motorcyclists rights organization and make them aware of the issues, if they aren't already.
If these ordinances are not attacked on each front, pretty soon our motorcycles will all sound like whisper jets!
If you get wind of a noise ordinance or story about noise in your area, kindly get it to me, so I can publicize it and let other riders know!
Ride Safe-Ride Free
Freedom isn't free... it's constant vigilance... and doing nothing will result in more freedoms being taken.

PS: Last year Massachusetts Justice Riders Paul Cote and Betsy Lister went to Boston Harley Davidson and inspected 66 motorcycles on the showroom floor. For most models we found ourselves having to lie down on the ground and put our heads half way under the bike to even locate where the stamp is.
A reminder that the EPA stamp was meant to validate and ensure that the exhaust system was compliant when it left the manufacturer's premises. It does NOTHING for the end user, and becomes null and void after ONE year of ownership and/or after driving 3730 miles.

PPS: Justice Rider Bill Gannon last year attempted to contact Vance and Hines thinking they'd want to be all over this whereas they're an after market exhaust manufacturer. They never responded to him.
