Three men accused of committing a gang-related assault at Konocti Vista Casino last spring will go to trial, the prosecutor said Thursday.
Timothy R. Bianchi, 34, Nicolas F. Carrillo, 33, and Josh L. Johnson, 36, have been charged for allegedly getting into an altercation with a member of the Vagos Motorcycle Club on June 4 during a tattoo convention at the Lakeport casino.
The three Sonoma County residents face a felony count of participating in a criminal street gang (the Hells Angels Motorcycle Club), a misdemeanor count of disturbing the peace by fighting and a misdemeanor battery count.
Bianchi faces a second felony of assault with a deadly weapon while Carrillo and Johnson face a second misdemeanor battery count.
A fourth man, David D. Dabbs, was also allegedly involved. He has been charged but has remained at large since an arrest warrant was issued in late August.
Judge Andrew S. Blum Thursday ordered Bianchi, Carrillo and Johnson to answer for all charges against them following a two-day preliminary hearing, according to deputy district attorney Art Grothe.
Lake County Sheriff Frank Rivero testified during the hearing Wednesday, describing steps he took to obtain video surveillance footage from casino officials.
The three defendants -- who are out of custody -- are set to return to the Lake County Courthouse April 16 for arraignment, Grothe said.
