SMITHLAND — Bobby Wilson “Deadman” Dedmon, 36, of Smithland died Sunday at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.

He was a 1993 graduate of Livingston Central High School and attended West Kentucky Technical School. Bobby was a fifteen year member of Plumbers and Pipe Fitters Local #184. He was a member of Salt and Light Community Church. For the past seven years, he has been an active member of Sons of Silence Motorcycle Club-Kentucky Chapter, and counted his club brothers, Johnny B., Blade, Curby, Joker, Wishbone, Ky Terry, Pyle, Graybeard, Rott and Dogleg as his family.

He was a loving husband to Kimberly Dedmon, his wife of six years; a devoted father to his two sons, Gage and Cole Dedmon; his mother, Glenda (Steve) Ramage of Draffenville; his father, Jimmy (Carolyn) Dedmon of Calvert City; his
brother, Tyler Dedmon of Smithland; grandmother, Jackie Dedmon of Gilbertsville; step-siblings, Leah (Keith) Tramble of Salem and Steve Alan (Lauren) Ramage of Smithland; brothers-in-law, Chris (Amanda) Beavers and Justin Beavers; sister-in-law, Julia Laszinger of Connecticut; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Hugh and Stella Steele and Leonard Dedmon.
Funeral services will be held at 12 p.m. Saturday at Milner and Orr Funeral Home of Paducah. Burial will follow at Iuka Cemetery in Livingston County. Visitation will be held from 5-8 pm Friday at the funeral home.
A trust fund for his children is being established at Paducah Federal Credit Union, 1600 Clark Street, Paducah, KY 42001.
