Two men have been jailed for firing shots into an Adelaide nightclub when four staff members were inside.
The District Court heard the Savvy nightclub in Light Square in the city was closed when Giovanni Licastro and Rebels bikie, James Mills, pulled up outside.
Judge Rosie Davey said security vision showed several shots were fired from their car, one hitting a nightclub next door.
Judge Davey said although Mills, 28, and Licastro, 33, pleaded guilty to endangering life, they never explained why they did it.
She said video footage showed them in a confrontation with a bouncer earlier.
The judge said people who walked the streets, even early in the morning, were entitled to feel safe from gun-wielding young men.
She jailed both for four-and-a-half years with two-year non-parole terms.
