Motorcycle riders in Maricopa County
We want to continue to keep everyone updated on the status of the elimination of Emission testing on Motorcycles in Maricopa County. This year we had the date changed so that it gave EPA more time to do their study and that date was approved by the Governor.
Today the Motorcycle Lobbyist's from MMA, ABATE and ACMC met with Arizona Department of Environmental Quality(ADEQ) to do a follow-up on the status. EPA and ADEQ continue to work together on the analysis and items needed to get the process completed. Maricopa County is also in the loop helping to get everything completed.
We do not have a completion date at this time but feel comfortable that all parties are working together to get this done as quickly as possible. We will continue to do follow-ups and pass the information on as we get it.
