Positive steps! #ICYMI the VA has (finally) acknowledged that medical cannabis can be helpful for vets and unveiled a new policy.
While doctors still can't officially recommend medicinal cannabis to vets, under the new guidelines they can discuss the possibility with their patients, who can then get a formal recommendation from another doc.
The VA is basically saying it will not be responsible for providing vet with mmj, but it won’t disallow patients from getting medical pot from private practitioners.
