OFF THE WIRE
San Diego Motorcycle Rider Community: Sept 9 event
Below is an opportunity to meet your local Assemblmember and tell her about your issues with law enforcement profiling, harassment and patch discrimination within your community.
Assemblymember Weber is a key legislator that we hope can champion and carry our motorcycle anti-profiling legislative proposal in 2018. But first, she needs to be made aware of the issue by meeting and talking to as many of her riding constituents as possible. This is the first step.
** FYI. The following event is Presented by the Democratic Professional Club **
This opportunity is not about party politics or political ideology but to raise awareness (to Weber and others who will listen at this event) about motorcycle profiling. It is about civil rights, social justice and legally guaranteed protection against such abuses.
