Here are the eight reports of police misconduct tracked for Thursday, May 19, 2016:

    San Jose, California: A man is suing the department and several officers for a beating he suffered as the result of a traffic stop. Video taken of the incident contradicts the officers’ reports.ow.ly/xzjZ300kOXp
    Bartow County, Georgia: A deputy was charged with sexual assault, meth possession, and violation of the oath of office after allegedly forcing a woman in custody to undress and taking pictures of her in his cruiser. He also allegedly touched her breasts. ow.ly/6TZe300l2uC
    Update: Drug Enforcement Administration (First reported 01-07-15): A now-former agent pled guilty to making a false statement regarding free travel he received while he was a station chief. He is scheduled to be sentenced December 6.  ow.ly/q637300lhaE
    Kissimmee, Florida: An officer was arrested for sexual battery and misconduct for coercing sex from a female suspect both on and off duty. He is also alleged to have pushed for her preferential treatment in her criminal case. ow.ly/E73Z300lQYS

    Update: Delaware County, Indiana (First reported 02-16-16): A now-former deputy pled guilty to stealing $8,580 worth of ammunition over about three years. ow.ly/SCG3300nytZ

    Walker County, Georgia: A deputy was charged with sexual assault for having an inmate perform a sex act during hospital transport. Both claim the act was consensual, but his custodial role makes the act criminally coercive. ow.ly/tbho300kkxM
    Update: Albany, New York (First reported 11-23-15): A now-former officer who was suspended last year for an altercation with teens on Halloween has been named in three civil suits that alleged he unlawfully searched the plaintiffs. After he had received his suspension, he left the department for a job with the Schenectady County police. ow.ly/YJvs300kljM
    Update: Albuquerque, New Mexico ( First reported 04-28-15): A now-former officer pled no contest to charges related to the beating of a man after the officer intentionally disabled his body camera. The man suffered permanent ear damage and incurred $4,000 in medical bills. The former officer faces a restitution hearing June 3.
