US DEFENDERS -- HANDLEBAR HEIGHT IN SOUTH DAKOTA

OFF THE WIRE
Please read the message below.  This probably doesn’t affect a lot of you personally because you don’t have high handle bars or you don’t plan to go to South Dakota, BUT it is a win for motorcycle rights.  Keeping our rights or getting them back is a process and diligence and tenacity play a big roll.

Good for South Dakota …

US Defenders -- Just in case you hadn't heard the good news coming out of South Dakota -- SB85 introduced to SD State Legislature:  "To repeal the requirements regarding handlebar height for motorcycles"
·  Passed Senate  34-0
·  Passed House 69-0
·  Signed by Governor 2-25-15

Effective July 1, 2015 -- Ape hangers will no longer be illegal in South Dakota.  Score a win for bikers!  Great news for those making the trek to Sturgis this year!

Please pass this on to your clubs and other interested parties.
