'Sons of Anarchy': What's Next for the Stars

Hunnam will become King as Sagal heads for a boxing drama.........

Sons of Anarchy took its final ride on Tuesday night with the season-seven finale.

Fans may be sad to see the motorcycle drama end and for the guys to retire their cuts, but many members of SAMCRO (and the show's creator) have already lined up their next projects, including some high-profile films and interesting indies.
Below, find out what the stars will be up to next:
Kurt Sutter
Sutter, the series creator, won't have any down time to mourn the end of his show. He's busy on his next project for FX: The Bastard Executioner. The historical fiction centers on a knight in King Edward II's army. Sons of Anarchy executive producer/director Paris Barclay will direct and executive produce the pilot, with plans to shoot in Wales in early 2015. Barclay isn't the only SOA family member heading to Sutter's new show; Sutter's offscreen wife, Katey Sagal, will have a role. Sutter also wrote the screenplay for and is executive producing Southpaw, a boxing drama starring Jake Gyllenhaal and Rachel McAdams. The Antoine Fuqua-helmed project is in postproduction and will be released by The Weinstein Co.

Charlie Hunnam
Hunnam will be diving into feature films. He's lined up the starring role in Guy Ritchie's Knights of the Roundtable: King Arthur. "I've been a big fan of Ritchie's work from the very beginning," said Hunnam, who is originally from the U.K. "It feels like an exciting palate cleanser to go back to England and work with an English dialect again and just do something totally different." He's also attached to the drama The Mountain Between Us about two strangers who survive a plane crash, and he's wrapped work on Guillermo del Toro's Crimson Peak. Hunnam, who was at one time attached to Fifty Shades of Grey, says plans are in the works for del Toro's Pacific Rim 2.
Ron Perlman
Perlman has been able to keep an active film career while working on Sons of Anarchy, and now that Clay's run on the show has ended, he's also turned his attention to producing. He launched a production company, Wing and a Prayer Pictures, in Cannes in May. "We're looking to do things that are 'unobviously' brilliant," he told THR. "It will be a celebration of originality and a place where people who make their living doing big commercial films can spread their wings on a different level here and do things that are experimental." He's also got several projects in post, including Roland Emmerich's Stonewall and Bone in the Throat, based on Anthony Bourdain's novel of the same name. On the TV side, he's heading to NBC's drama The Blacklist, where he'll play a villain, and Amazon's Hand of God. In May, he told THR he's eyeing a directorial debut, which he'd also produce through his new company.
Katey Sagal
Along with joining Sutter's next TV project, Sagal has lined up several film roles. She's already wrapped work on Universal's musical comedy Pitch Perfect 2 and is currently shooting boxing drama Bleed for This. She'll play Louise, the mother of boxer Vinny Pazienza (Miles Teller) in the film.
Maggie Siff
Hunnam's onscreen wife is also moving quickly into film projects. She's currently shooting The Fifth Wave, Sony's YA project starring Chloe Moretz. In the film, set in a time when aliens have invaded Earth, Siff will play the mother of Moretz's character. She also just signed on to Showtime's drama pilot Billions, starring Paul Giamatti and Damian Lewis.

Mark Boone Junior
Bobby has a slew of indies in post, including The Rivers of Babylon, American Romance and Casual Encounters.
Theo Rossi
Rossi starred in and produced the film Bad Hurt, which will likely make a festival run this season. "The response has been absolutely incredible, so we're really excited for that," he told THR. He's also actively looking for his next projects to produce while deciding on acting gigs as well.
Tommy Flanagan
With the Chibs role behind him, Flanagan has been working on several indies. He reunited with Perlman for indie The Jesuit and will appear in indie Wild for the Night with another SOA actor: Emilio Rivera. Flanagan will return to TV, playing a villain on ABC's Revenge on the midseason premiere.
