Notice to all bikers in NYC, there is word that the NYPD will pull you over if you are wearing patches or logos of any sort, especially those belonging to motorcycle clubs. Keep video cameras on you at all times and record the officers if they pull you over, it is NOT illegal to film officers while they have pulled you over. As long as you know you were not breaking any laws at the time of being pulled over, question the officer as to why you were pulled over, if they cannot produce a viable legal reason, or if they become disrespectful (as long as you stay respectful), or state anything to the effect of in regards to the logos or patches you are wearing or the tragedy on the West Side Highway, you can place a harassment suit against the NYPD for discrimination against you. Why? Because they pulled you over for what you are wearing. My fellow bikers, read the Constitution and know your rights. An educated and free mind will always prosper. Ride safe my friends.
