USA - 'Warlocks Rising' features Orlando, Cocoa Beach bikers

OFF THE WIRE
"Warlocks Rising," a new Discovery Channel series, will feature bikers from Orlando and Cocoa Beach.

The four-episode series debuts at 9 p.m. Friday and will remain in that time slot through the month.

The series examines how members of the Florida biker gang try to remain loyal to the demanding Warlock life while leading a family life.

The Orlando bikers are Contender, boss of the mother chapter who requires security at all times, and Nasty, a 21-year club member who's known for getting things done.

The Cocoa Beach bikers are Danbo, the national secretary-treasurer who handles the group's bookkeeping, and Phil Z, the group's national vice president. "Phil Z is a ladies man, avid surfer and rides his bike standing on the seat at 80 mph," Discovery said.

Other featured bikers include Slob Rob of St. Petersburg, Troy of Tampa and Shotgun of Sarasota/Tampa. Discovery provided these details: Slob Rob is an outspoken club member and family man; Troy doesn't drink but has a no-fear attitude; and Shotgun took a break from club life to go to Bible school for five years.

Discovery provided this preview: "In the end, each of them must make sacrifices."
