The crowd stood waiting, lined up around the block to get into the world-famous Whisky a Go Go yesterday afternoon, March 18, when all of a sudden they heard the sound.
Heading west along the infamous Sunset Strip, everyone heard the rolling thunder as a huge procession of motorcycles, pulling ornate carriages carrying rock stars, pulled up in front of the club. Thus began the memorable press conference for the sixth annual Rockstar Energy Drink Mayhem Festival tour.
As Noisecreep reported yesterday, the bands announced for the tour this year include headliners Rob Zombie, Five Finger Death Punch, Mastodon, Children of Bodom and many more. Zombie, the guys from FFDP and a slew of other rockers participating in the tour were on hand at the Whisky to take questions during the press conference and hang out while two of the bands, Butcher Babies and Huntress played a pair of thundering sets for the packed club.
