Two people shot during Zulus Motorcycle Club shootout near E.71st

| CLEVELAND - Cleveland Police are investigating a double shooting in connection
with the Zulus Motorcycle Club overnight. According to Cleveland Police, two people were shot early Saturday morning around 4:07 a.m. in the area of E.71 st Street and Bliss. When officers arrived on scene they found two females with gunshot wounds in a Dark Green Chevrolet Tahoe. Stephanie Petty, 28, suffered a gunshot wound to the torso and 19-year-old Saprine Harris suffered gun powder burns and a possible graze wound. EMS transported both women to MetroHealth Medical Center, where they are being treated for their injuries. Their conditions are unknown at this time. While on scene the officers were informed that the two females were seated in the Tahoe (Petty in driver’s seat and Harris in the back seat) when Petty was arguing with a 34-year-old male, the father of her child. During the argument, the father allegedly produced a handgun and fired several shots into the SUV. After firing into the SUV he fled the scene, possibly in a Chrysler 300. While investigating the incident, police dispatch received a call from University Hospital for a male victim of a gunshot wound to the foot. The male victim and the father of Petty's child, informed officers he was in the area of E. 71st and Schaffer Avenue and was walking away from Petty’s SUV when an unknown male standing next to the vehicle fired several shots hitting him in the foot. After being shot he was driven to University Hospital by a 35-year-old male friend. After further investigation and a search of the vehicle that the father and his male friend were operating, a Glock pistol was recovered.
