New California Gun Control Legislation

OFF THE WIRE
Okay, somebody please find out the truth of this!!!

In the wake of last week’s tragedy in Connecticut, California is about to walk right off of the  deep end, again.  Word out on the street is there is new Gun Control legislation being prepped to hit the State Floor in January.  The new legislation supposedly is looking to mandate the following:

1.      Proposed buyer will be subject to a State, Federal AND an International back ground check.
2.      Waiting period will now be extended upto 30 to 45 days for any firearm.  Perspective buyer will be notified when he/she passes the back ground check and can pick-up their new firearm.
3.      DROS will be increased to $125 per firearm to fund the added fees for back ground checks.  This fee will be passed on to the buyer.
4.       Gun owners will have to register with local law enforcement where firearms will be stored, to include but not limited to, physical address, location on premises, cased or uncased and/or secured.
5.      No more than 3 firearms may be purchased in a calendar year, per household.
6.      When entering the State of California any and all motorist must not only declare any fruits or vegetables, firearms of any kind are to be declared and vehicles will be subject to random search.
7.      There is going to be new taxes and limitations on ammunition as well.

Please someone in the know look into to this and find out the truth of it.  This is whole ‘Control Thing’ is getting out of control.
