This Thanksgiving Show Injured Heroes Your Appreciation

Thank You For Supporting Injured Warriors
Who Sacrificed So Much

As you gather with friends and family this Thanksgiving, please remember to show injured warriors how much you value and appreciate them with a special gift.

Dear caring friend,

As you celebrate Thanksgiving, please pause to commemorate the blessings and bounty you’ve experienced throughout the past year. Even if you had to endure some difficult times this year, you’re still blessed beyond measure when compared to those who gave so much of themselves in order for you to enjoy this day of thanks.

When you gather with your loved ones, please don’t forget to keep the dedicated U.S. service members who defend our freedoms at the top of your list of thanks. Though many brave men and women are still on the front lines of war, far from their homes and loved ones, others are spending the day in a cold, sterile hospital room, coping with the realities of their life-changing injuries.

There’s no better way to show your appreciation to our injured heroes than by making a special donation to Wounded Warrior Project® (WWP) today.

Your support tells our troops, who’ve paid such a high price to secure our safety and freedom, how much you value their sacrifices.

Whether visible or invisible, the list of devastating injuries service members live with is terribly long, and the number of wounded veterans steadily continues to increase. Yet, in spite of their wounds, these brave men and women feel they have much to be thankful for — especially their lives.

They are also grateful for WWP supporters like you. Your donation makes possible the WWP rehabilitative programs that help wounded veterans through their recovery process.

So, as you prepare to gather around the Thanksgiving table with your loved ones this year, I want to thank you for being part of the WWP family. We appreciate you. I also want to remind you that your gift of $50, $75, $100, or more is still very much needed.

With thanks at this special time,

Steven Nardizzi
Executive Director
Wounded Warrior Project
