District Judge Michael Villani on Friday set an Aug. 5, 2013, trial for eight defendants in the Hells Angels assault case.
Villani had declared a mistrial last month, stating prosecutors had failed to turn over evidence to defense attorneys in the case.
The defendants, including members of the Hells Angels Motorcycle Club, are charged with bludgeoning three rival Mongols members at a Las Vegas wedding chapel.
Facing trial are Dominic Orlando, Frederick O'Dell, Brandon Young, James Sexey, John Dawson, Jeffrey Murray, John Merchant and Armando Porras.
In all, the defendants are charged with about a dozen felony and misdemeanor counts, including attempted murder, battery and conspiracy.
Defense lawyers are promising to file motions seeking to dismiss the charges .
