AUSTRALIA - Baulkham Hills tattoo parlour shooting gxxg related

OFF THE WIRE
Strike Force Kinnarra has been set up to investigate the shooting at a Baulkham Hills tattoo business early this morning.
It was one of five shootings overnight believed to be linked to ongoing conflict between the Hells Angels and Nomads Outlawed Motorcycle Gxxgs. A house and a business at Merrylands and a home at Granville were also sprayed with bullets. No one was injured.
The strike force is also making inquiries into a fifth shooting at Northmead overnight, but at this stage detectives cannot confirm it is linked to the conflict.
State Crime Commander, Acting Assistant Commissioner Mal Lanyon, said police were again facing a wall of silence in their efforts to investigate the shootings.
It is the second time in a month that shots have been fired at Tattoo World on Seven Hills Rd at Baulkham Hills, the third time in a year.
A number of shots were fired into the shop just after 1am on Tuesday.
Witnesses said a man wearing dark clothing and a black balaclava, fired a number of shots before fleeing the scene.
Tattoo World was sprayed with 16 bullets in last month’s attack.
It was also targetted in March last year when five shots were fired into the front roller door of the premises.
``There are members of the community who have information about these shootings and the people involved, ``Assistant Commissioner Lanyon said.
``We also know there are members of these groups out there who don’t agree with the violence being used.
``I encourage these people to provide that information to police. That information can be provided anonymously.
``There is no doubt that these shootings are all about the conflicting groups sending a message to each other, but they are reckless acts of violence.’‘
In addition to the investigative component, Strike Force Kinnarra will also have a strong proactive component involving Strike Force Raptor, the Middle Eastern Organised Crime Squad.
No one has been charged.
