Scotland - Biker faces court for 114mph

A BIKER has been charged after he was caught driving at 114mph on a rural road.Share0
The motorcyclist was one of eight people caught speeding on the B9001 Inverurie to Rothienorman, which is a popular route with commuters on their way to work in the morning.
Sergeant Rob Warnock, of Grampian Police, said drivers were caught speeding at more than 80mph and 90mph, although the 114mph was the highest speed recorded in the crackdown.
He said: "I am disappointed that despite our repeated warnings about the dangers of driving at excessive speed, it appears that some drivers have failed to heed this message ."
A 28-year-old man is expected to appear in court, Grampian Police said.
