NEVEDA - Two-week driving crackdown starts Monday in Reno area..

Local law enforcement agencies will use a grant from the Nevada Office of Traffic Safety to put extra peace officers on the road Monday through April 16 to crack down on bad driving.
The Sparks Police Department announced it will put two extra officers to target speeders, motorcycle violations and people who use cell phones while driving.
The Nevada Highway Patrol will also use OTS money to add trooopers, but couldn't immediately say how many.
Sparks police reminded drivers of cars and motorcycles not to speed and to stay off cell phones while driving.
