AUSTRALIA - Sydney man charged over daylight shooting

A MAN has been charged over a shooting in broad daylight near a busy Sydney street.Police are believed to be investigating links between the incident and outlaw bikie gxxgs, Nine News reports.
Emergency services were called to a carpark in Miller, in southwestern Sydney, about 1.30pm (AEDT) after members of the public reported hearing gunshots.
Paramedics found a 39-year-old man with a bullet wound to his stomach and a 43-year-old who had been shot in the arms and legs.
They were taken to Liverpool Hospital where the younger man underwent emergency surgery.
He is reported to be in a critical condition.
Assistant Commissioner Frank Mennilli yesterday said the men were all known to police.
Two were arrested in the area 90 minutes after the incident.
One was found at a home and another was in a car pulled over by police.
Officers raided the Hinchinbrook home and seized a number of firearms and ammunition which are undergoing forensic examination.
A 34-year-old man has been charged with two counts of shooting with intent to murder and two counts of discharging a loaded firearm with intent.
The man was refused bail and will appear in Bankstown Local Court today..
