AUSTRALIA - Hells Angels bikies arrested over Kings Cross brawl

OFF THE WIRE
AT least 50 members and associates of the Hells Angels outlaw motorcycle gxxg were attempting to gain entry to nightclubs associated with John Ibrahim before brawling with Kings Cross police early on Sunday morning.
Police responded to a call at 12.15am on Sunday February 5 reporting that at least 50 members of the Hells Angels, some in full colours and others in supporter shirts, were assaulting security staff at the Trademark Hotel.
The group had been walking north along Darlinghurst Rd, stopping out the front of Porky’s and Dreamgirls along the way.
Police allege one member of the group was seen with a gun under their shirt.
The group continued north with police following them. The group then turned west down into the Springfield Mall and into Earl Place to turn south down Victoria St when a member of the group, 50-year-old Michael Doyle, has allegedly turned around and spat at police.
He was then arrested and handcuffed by police, when his son Zeke, 23, allegedly attempted to intervene.
Police allegedly pulled Zeke away as he attempted to kick and punch police, before police performed a leg sweep on the man, bringing him to the ground.
It was then that Zeke received a cut to his forehead.
Both Michael and Zeke Doyle are alleged to have threatened to take contracts out and kill the arresting officers.
Both men were taken to Kings Cross police station and arrested. They received bail from Parramatta court yesterday and are due to face Downing Centre Local Courts on Wednesday.
The men have been charged with affray, assault police, resist and intimidate police.
