US - Cop Block is Watching: “Cop Road Rage on the Information Highway”

OFF THE WIRE
copblock.org
Lawofficer.com is running a series of articles on how LEOs should conduct themselves online. The law enforcement community is trying to rein in raging cops from posting violent or inflamatory speech online. Cops are having to come to terms with social media and the accountability that it brings. Much of the public owning mobile phones with cameras along with the ability to stream online has changed their world.
Of course, with the anonymity the internet offers, most LEOs are simply creating fake profiles and names.
