AUSTRALIA - New raid in hunt for bikie clues

OFF THE WIRE
POLICE who raided the northern clubrooms of the Hells Angles Motorcycle Club yesterday left empty handed.
Crime Gangs Task Force officers searched the Mansfield Park clubrooms, opposite the Regency Park Community Centre, as part of "ongoing investigations" into recent illegal bikie activities.

"No arrests or reports were made," a police spokesman said.

Crime Gangs detectives and STAR Group police also raided the same clubrooms last month while searching for the gunmen who shot the son of former Finks bikie Mark Sandery, on September 30.

The boy, 11, was shot twice in the leg when gunmen forced entry to a house at Military Rd, Semaphore, about 10.30pm and fired shots through a bedroom door.

A man with links to the Hells Angels was interviewed over that shooting during the first raid on the clubrooms but was later released without charge.
Since September, three street shootings have been attributed to a simmering bikie feud, including the serious wounding of Comancheros leader Vincenzo Focarelli on December 15. Three masked men peppered a Burton house with shots two days later.

There was a gunfight outside Caffe Paesano in North Adelaide, allegedly between feuding Comanchero members, on December 18.
