CALIFORNIA - Hells Angels Are Giving Angels

OFF THE WIRE
 By Rich Rodriguez
FRESNO, Calif. (KMPH) -
The Hells Angels are more than just tough guys on two wheels.  Every year they show how much they care about kids.  Saturday afternoon marked the Fresno County Hells Angels 13th annual toy run to Poverello House.
They rolled out dozens of bicycles in all sizes to be given away.  Shawn Kerbow's little tikes love their new bikes. "They're gonna be happy.   They're blessed.   We're not gonna have too much money this year.   So it's a little harder than it was last year but I'm blessed that's for sure."
The bikes weren't just for the little ones.   Big kids also got in on the fun.  "That's probably more your size right there.   Unless you like the white one.   Yeah anyone you want.   Can I get the white one?  Sure."
Last year the Poverello House gave away more than 3500 toys on Christmas morning.   The Hells Angels helped them re–stock their shelves.  "We don't do anything for p.r.   We're here to do those kids a favor.   Maybe give them a straight row down the road and let them know somebody loves them and somebody cares for them," said Merl Hefferman.
The Hells Angels have made the toy run a tradition for 13  years.   They deliver, watch anxious kids pick out their bikes and then mount up and move out.
