Fathers Plea
The father of Hayden Joseph, wanted over a shooting in Wanneroo, has made a desperate plea for his son to turn himself in.
Police have threatened to use all their resources to bring in two young men who have been on the run since the shooting of Jeremia Iskander in Wanneroo a week ago.
The father of one of the wanted men yesterday made a heart-felt appeal for his son Hayden Joseph, 23, to give himself up to police.
"Hayden I love you heaps, I want you to come forward for your own safety, do the right thing. Contact me as soon as you can, I'm with you, I'm here for you, I want to make you safe," Bruce Joseph said.

"Do it the right way and you won't get hurt, we need you to do this for your own good and to get this sorted out. Hayden, I love you so much mate, come on do it for me."
Mr Joseph jnr and Damien Phillip Mathews, 23, of Nollamara are suspected of being responsible for shooting the 21-year-old Wanneroo man in the chest at 9pm on December 2.
Mr Mathews has links to the motorcycle gang the Gypsy Jokers through his father but it is not known what relationship he shared with Mr Joseph jnr, who posted threats on Facebook about what appeared to be a small debt that he was owed.

"[Hayden's] a very good boy. I need to talk to him to find out his story and find out what's happening," Mr Joseph snr said.
Mr Joseph snr said his son was dedicated in his job as a diesel mechanic but he had not had any contact with him since he disappeared on Friday last week.
"There [are] two stories and we need to get Hayden's story directly from him," he said.

"It's [been] really tough, I've got so much love for him, it's tough but I am being strong for Hayden and I want Hayden to know that I am being strong."
He said that he had tried to make contact with him through Facebook but had heard no word from him.
Detective Inspector Dave Bryson gave a heated warning to Mr Joseph jnr to turn himself in to authorities.

"Hayden, the full resources of WA police are hunting you and Mr Mathews," he said.
"You've heard from your dad, now please do the right thing. Contact police, ring the Crime Stoppers number, or get in touch with your father and please come in and give us your side of the story."
Police protocol dictates that officers are only to use their firearms in a life-threatening situation but should a confrontation ensue between officers and the men, the police's Tactical Response Group can be called.
Considered the 'heavy-hitters' and equipped with riot gear, TRG officers have many means at their disposal of arresting people.
"At this stage we still believe either of these gentlemen may be armed, so again I ask the public not to approach them but simply ring police and we will deal with the matter," Inspector Bryson said.
He said he could not rule out the possibility that the men have since crossed the WA border and escaped interstate.
"We've had several sightings [in the state], which we have followed up but unfortunately they were not true," he said.
He believed they had changed cars since being seen in a white Commodore sedan.
Anyone with information is urged by investigators to contact Crime Stoppers.
