They may to some people appear hellish with their black leathers, tattoos and thunderous motorbikes, but a group of Ipswich bikers are angels to some of the most vulnerable in society.
Raceview's Kat Briant is among a group of about 25 bike-loving residents who are part of Bikers United Against Child Abuse, co-founded by Peter Geary.
The ``non-territorial bike club'' gives support to victims and witnesses  often vulnerable children  of horrific crimes as they take part in often intimidating court cases.
She was inspired to join the group after seeing some of the charitable deeds of the outlaw motorbike group, the Bandidos.
``The organisation in  Ipswich  is new and we've  helped four or five families this year,'' the Yamaha-riding grandmother said.
