POLICE are investigating an arson attack on a Muswellbrook bikie clubhouse this morning, the second property belonging to the Nomads gang to be targeted in the Hunter in eight days.
A neighbour woke to find two small fires burning at the gang’s Bridge Street headquarters about 2.30am today.
Fire crews were able to extinguish the flames before they caused major damage.
The main blaze was at the property’s front door.
Specialist police have been called in to investigate reports of an accelerant being used to spark the blazes.
It comes after the gang’s Newcastle chapter headquarters at Islington was targeted in a similar attack on November 16.
