A court on Queensland's Gold Coast has rejected a bail application from a Finks motorcycle club member facing drugs charges.
Kris Spizzeri, 29, is charged with trafficking, supplying and possessing dangerous drugs.
He is one of 39 people arrested during raids on the Gold Coast, Ipswich and Logan City on Wednesday.
Lawyer Bill Potts told the court the case against his client was weak and there could be a delay of up to 12 months until a committal hearing is held.
The magistrate said the evidence was strong and described Spizzeri as an unacceptable risk.
Outside the court, Mr Potts said there would be a Supreme Court application for bail
"We hope that the Supreme Court will take into account the delay that's inevitably going to occur in this matter," he said.
The case will be mentioned again in November.
