Reno, Nev. – Police: Brawl at Silver Legacy connected to Nugget shooting

Reno Police tell News 4 a biker brawl broke-out on the Silver Legacy floor shortly following a shooting at John Ascuaga’s late Friday night.

Police believe the shooting and brawl were connected to each other.

News 4 is working to uncover more details on the Silver Legacy brawl.

Further information may not be released until a preliminary Nugget shooting investigation is completed.

One confirmed dead in Nugget shooting

 Sparks Police Department has confirmed one person died after a late night shooting inside John Ascuaga's Nugget near the Trader Dick's Bar.  Police say the shooting involved a fight with a large group who were armed with firearms.

Officers found three victims of gunshot wounds when they arrived.  One victim has died. The other two victims are currently still at medical facilities with non-life threatening injuries.
The Sparks Police Department requested assistance from allied law enforcement agencies and officers/deputies responded from the Reno Police Department, Washoe County Sheriff's Office and the University of Nevada- Reno Police Department along with troopers from the Nevada Highway patrol.
