Australia - Bikie Troy Mercanti released from prison

Bikie Troy Mercanti has walked free from Casuarina Prison after serving nearly three years behind bars.
He had been jailed for a nightclub assault and on a separate charge for refusing to answer questions at an Australian Crime Commission inquiry into organised crime.
A silver stretch limousine pulled into the prison grounds just before 9:00 am to collect him.
Shortly afterwards, Mercanti was greeted by about a dozen members of the Finks motorcycle gang, sporting a black t-shirt with the words `Attitude 66 violence'
He was whisked away in front of a large media contingent.
Police say they will continue to monitor the activities of all outlaw motorcycle gangs.
