Hi Ladies of Sweetwater HD.
I wanted to take a moment and first of all thank you for the wonderful offer to host our 2011 Annual Ride to Stop Violence event at your facility. We would be so honored to have an event at Sweetwater Harley Davidson.
Unfortunately this year has proven to be a difficult one for many grass roots non-profit organizations and we are one of them. Our Board of Directors has chosen to not move forward with plans for this event, and all future events, until we have a sponsor in place to cover event production, marketing, and operating costs. We can no longer be 100% dependent on ticket sales.
We have a very comprehensive sponsorship package and meeting with a non-profit strategist tomorrow to ensure we expand and move forward in a way that makes the most business sense for us.
We do not have a sponsor in place for the RIDE event and in order to move forward we would need a minimum of a $5,000 sponsor. Until we solidify such a sponsor, we will be postponing our event until further notice.
If you would like us to approach any sponsors you may have in mind, let me know. I would be happy to send them a sponsorship package, meet with them personally and present a wonderful Power Point that will answer any questions they have and show them all the amazing benefits for them should they choose Rock to Stop Violence and our annual Ride to Stop Violence event to support.
We will keep you posted on all progress should there be any changes to our plans for having the event this year.
