Delaware's helemt legislation

OFF THE WIRE
Our helmet legislation that removes the requirement of having to carry a crash device for those 19 years of age or older choosing not to wear one passed the House of Representatives with 23 votes yesterday. It now heads to the Senate, will be assigned to the Public Safety Committee, and hopefully to the Senate floor for a full Senate vote. Discussions were also held yesterday with the governor's office. No commitment either way as of yet there.
