According to an advisory issued from the Vandenberg AFB Public Affairs & Safety Office, motorcycle events are now considered “gang activity.”
A quick Internet search reveals motorcycle events for the benefit of food banks, cancer victims, handicapped children, downed law enforcement officers and toy runs, just to name a few.
I fail to see any logic behind this advisory. Perhaps someone in the safety office has been perusing episodes of “Gangland” on the History Channel under the guise of intelligence gathering.
I think our tax dollars could be better spent.
